There is one long table in the room and it is set for the turning of the year. Nine courses come out of a wood-fired kitchen, mostly root and smoke and things pulled from the ground that week.

You will not be handed a menu. You will be handed a glass, seated among strangers, and left to discover what happens next.

Questions we hear at the door

How long does an evening run?

Doors at seven, first course at half past, and most tables are still talking at midnight. Come with the evening free — this is not a meal you can do in ninety minutes.

Will I be seated with people I don't know?

Yes, unless you book the whole table. That is the point of the room, and it works far better than it sounds. Tell us if you'd rather be seated quietly at one end and we'll arrange it.

Can you work around what I eat?

Yes. Tell us about allergies or anything you avoid when you reserve, and the kitchen builds you a parallel menu — not a plate of apologies. Give us a week's notice for anything substantial.

Is there a dress code?

No, but people dress for this room and you will enjoy it more if you do. Somewhere between a good dinner and a small conspiracy.

My plans changed.

Cancel up to fourteen days out for a full refund. Inside of that, your seats are transferable to anyone you like — send us a name and we'll reissue them.
